How do I choose a delivery rate per mile?
Use your own fuel, maintenance, insurance, and vehicle wear costs to choose a rate. The sample $1.50 per mile is an editable example, not a market benchmark. Count all vehicle miles for delivery and pickup.
Should I charge for setup labor separately?
Count driving, setup, and pickup in total person-hours. Two crew members working for 1.5 hours contribute 3 person-hours. Include each cost either in the base fee or as separate labor, without counting it twice.
