Complete Your Account Onboarding
Set up your business profile, routing details, and website mode before you start taking bookings.
Use this checklist the first time you log into InflateMate. The onboarding flow is short, but it controls how your dashboard, website, and routing tools are initialized.
What onboarding covers
InflateMate walks you through three steps:
- Business basics
- Contact and routing
- Website and domain
When you finish, InflateMate creates your business and sends you straight into the dashboard.
1. Add your business basics
In the first step, enter your business name exactly how you want it shown across the platform.
Use the same name you want customers to recognize on:
- your website
- booking emails
- payment requests
- waiver messages
If you plan to use the hosted website, this name is also used to generate your default subdomain.
2. Enter contact and routing details
The second step is where you tell InflateMate how to contact you and where your gear operates from.
Add:
- your storage address
- city, state, and ZIP
- the booking phone customers should call
- the business email that should receive booking notifications
Why this matters:
- the address improves delivery and routing setup
- the phone and email become your default customer contact points
- the location data helps later when you configure service areas and delivery rules in Settings
3. Choose your website mode
The final step asks how you want to sell online.
Template Website
Choose this if you want InflateMate to host your rental site for you.
What you get:
- a ready-to-customize website
- built-in booking pages
- a free
yourbusiness.inflatemate.costyle subdomain - optional custom domain support on Growth/Pro-style access
Embedded Components
Choose this if you already have a website and only want the booking widgets.
What you get:
- embeddable widgets you can place on your current site
- more control over where booking flows appear
- support for your own domain
If you pick Embedded Components, your domain is required during onboarding.
4. Decide whether to add a custom domain now
You may also see a Custom Domain or Your Domain field.
- If you chose Embedded Components, enter the domain you already own.
- If you chose Template Website on a higher plan, you can enter your custom domain here.
- If you chose Template Website on the base plan, InflateMate keeps you on the free subdomain until you upgrade.
Enter the domain as a bare host, like:
bouncekingdom.combook.jumpzoneparty.com
Do not paste the full https:// URL.
5. Finish setup and land in the dashboard
Click Complete Setup to create the business.
After that, InflateMate redirects you into your dashboard so you can:
- review the overview page
- add inventory
- configure booking rules
- connect Stripe
- customize your website
Recommended next steps
Right after onboarding, do these in order:
- Read the dashboard overview guide
- Add inventory and packages
- Configure deposits, timers, and delivery rules in Settings
- Connect Stripe in Payments or Settings
- Publish your website or widgets
Quick tip
If you are not sure whether to choose Template Website or Embedded Components, start with the template site unless you already have a live website you want to keep.
