Use the Dashboard Overview
Understand the overview page, contextual actions, readiness checklist, and daily schedule widgets.
The dashboard overview is your daily control room. It is built to show what needs attention first without making you dig through every section.
What appears on the overview page
The overview focuses on four things:
- the current day
- pending follow-up work
- upcoming jobs
- setup items you still need to finish
Use it as the first page you check every morning.
1. Read the status header
At the top of the page, InflateMate summarizes what is happening right now.
Depending on your schedule, the header changes to reflect:
- whether you have bookings today
- whether your backlog is clear
- whether you have pending bookings that still need action
This is meant to answer one question fast: what should I work on first?
2. Use the contextual CTA
The large button under the header changes based on your current workload.
You may see actions like:
- Review Pending Bookings
- View Today’s Schedule
- Add a Booking
- Prepare Inventory
That button is not decorative. It is the fastest path to the highest-priority workflow for that moment.
3. Check the readiness checklist
If your subscription is active and setup is incomplete, you will see a readiness section.
This checklist highlights important unfinished setup tasks such as:
- connecting Stripe
- configuring tax settings
- adding inventory
- customizing your website
Use this section to close setup gaps before you start scaling bookings.
4. Review Today’s Schedule
The Today’s Schedule section shows the jobs happening now.
From here you can quickly:
- open the booking
- confirm timing details
- send an invoice when one is due
- jump into the full calendar view
If no jobs are scheduled today, InflateMate shows a quieter-state message instead of an empty table.
5. Watch the upcoming queue
If more jobs are coming soon, InflateMate shows a Coming Up Soon section below today’s schedule.
This preview helps you spot:
- upcoming event dates
- customer names
- inventory attached to each job
- booking status
- invoice actions you may still need to send
Use this area to stay ahead instead of reacting at the last minute.
Best way to use this page each day
Here is the simplest daily routine:
- Open the overview
- Click the contextual CTA if something urgent is waiting
- Check today’s jobs
- Send any invoices that are due
- Use the readiness checklist only until your setup is fully complete
Quick tip
If the overview keeps pushing you toward pending bookings, your next move is usually to tighten up quote follow-up, deposits, or automated reminders in Bookings and Settings.
