Learn how to send a quote for a booking
Booking System – Adding a Booking and Sending a Quote
This guide explains how to create a new booking and send a quote to a customer within the InflateMate dashboard.
1. Start a New Booking
- In the dashboard, go to the Bookings section.
- On the top-right corner, click New Booking.
2. Check Availability
- The first step is the Availability check.
- Select the desired date and time for the event.
- The system will automatically display which inventory items are available during that period.
3. Enter Customer Information
- After confirming availability, proceed to the Customer Information step.
- Fill in the customer’s details (name, contact information, etc.).
4. Review the Summary Screen
- On the Summary screen, you will see an overview of the booking:
- Selected inventory
- Date and time
- Customer details
- Total cost
- From here, you can either send a quote or take a direct payment.
5. Send the Quote
- To send a quote:
- Click the Send Quote button.
- The customer will receive the quote by email.
- Once the customer pays, a waiver is automatically generated and sent to them.
6. Booking Status
- Until payment is completed, the booking will appear in your Booking List with the status Pending.
- Once the customer pays, the booking is confirmed and updates automatically.
✅ Tip: Use the quote option when the customer needs time to review the booking details or prefers to pay later.
