Booking Pipeline Overview

Learn how inflatemate handles bookings with our pipeline flow

Booking System – Booking Pipeline Overview

The Booking Pipeline shows the different stages a booking can go through in InflateMate. Each stage helps you track the status of inventory and customer payments.

Hold

  • What it means: Inventory items are placed on hold for 30 minutes.
  • Use case: This happens when a booking is being created but not yet finalized.
  • Actions:
    • If the customer decides not to proceed, you can manually release the hold.
    • If no action is taken, the hold will expire automatically and be removed by the end of the day.

Pending

  • What it means: Customer information has been collected, but payment has not yet been received.
  • Use case: This is the typical state after you send a quote to the customer.
  • Actions:
    • Wait for the customer to pay.
    • Once payment is made, the booking automatically moves to Confirmed.

Confirmed

  • What it means: Payment has been successfully received.
  • Automatic action: A waiver is generated and sent to the customer immediately.
  • Status: The booking is now locked in and considered final.

Tip: Think of the pipeline as your booking “lifecycle” — from a temporary hold, to awaiting payment, to a confirmed reservation.
